EDUCATION Our staff and associates have the highest training in the industry and continuing education is part of our requirements for employment. Our surveyors are experienced and currently have completed a comprehensive course given by the State University Of New York Maritime College on Marine Surveying. The majority of our surveyors has taken courses on electrical, mechanical and standards and recommended practices for small craft given by the American Boat & Yacht Council. Mr. Lenny Girlando and Captain Edward Thomas are the principal surveyors and adjusters of United Marine Services. They have extensive hands-on experience in producing accurate appraisals and recommended recovery amounts. Both have performed numerous safety surveys for owner and underwriting interests over the years. Both Mr. Girlando and Captain Thomas have developed a large network of qualified marine technicians and forensic engineers, who assist in identifying deficiencies and dangerous conditions quickly. |
